Tips for Buying a Designer Bag

Designer bags are very popular among women worldwide. However, if this is the first time you are purchasing a luxury bag, what should you consider?

1. Avoid common bag designs
- i just purchased a Louis Vuitton bag and at that moment it seemed like a great bag and nice design. After i purchased the bag, i found many other ladies carrying the same bag! During a lunch break, a walk from my office to the restaurant, i found 8 ladies carrying the same bag. Needless to say, i have now stored my bag in the blog closet

2. Budget
- each luxury brand has different ranges to fit your budget. If you will end up in heavy debts just to buy the "IT" bag, then my advice is, you can afford that at a later time. Can't afford a Chanel bag? Grab a Guess or DKNY bag first.

3. Review Bag Requirements
- what is the common size of bag that you are using? Will the size fit the necessary items you are carrying each day?
- weight and ease of maintenance? I had a Prada bag that was made with suede and a hardwood handle. Great to see but any water stains will show up very fast on the bag. Somehow, each time i took this Prada bag out, it would rain...
And the best thing about buying designer bags? You can always wait for designer brands seasonal sale! Just got this purchased at the Hong Kong International Airport 2 months ago and it was even at 50% discount!
